Boitumelo Moroka is a cinematographer, director of photography, photographer and writer. She was born in Lusaka, Zambia and currently living and works in South Africa. She is now releasing her debut fictional book HURAKAN AND OTHER STORIES. Available now
- Graduated from AFTDA (South African School of Television, Film and Dramatic Arts) with a degree in film and an honours degree in cinematography
- Director of photography for “BUDDYZ ON THE MOVE” which won CBA – UNICEF award for best children programme in 2006.
- Wrote, Directed and shot a 48min documentary for TV “ GOGO’S HEART” 2009
- Camera work on “LATE NITE NEWS WITH LOYISO GOLA” show which was nominated twice for an EMMY in 2013 and 2014
- Nominated for SAFTA (South African Film and Television Awards) in Cinematography 2015
